There have been a number of issue going on lately with the Globe Crossing backbone connectivity.

  1. I have just got a reply from TM and confirm the recent downtime happened since 22 Jan 2008 on International Links. Here is the reply:

    “With regards to your connection issue, kindly take note that the internet service was experiencing an increased latency or degradation in performance specifically for international links since 22nd January 2008. As a result, our Internet customers may experience some delay when accessing content and websites hosted outside of Malaysia. However, we are really appreciate if you could provide us the screenshot of your ping (-n 30) result from your Streamyx connection to the below websites for further investigation. Please follow the steps given as below.”
